Caseificio degli Altipiani e del Vezzena
Today’s dairy is the result of the merge, in the 1950s, of the Folgaria Dairy and the Lavarone Dairy, established in 1864. The tradition of cheese making in these areas was once based on cooperative dairies that took turns to work the “casarata”. The cheese they made was their property.
There are two shops, one at the dairy and the other in Costa di Folgaria.
