The Caseificio Sociale Val di Fassa is a farming cooperative founded in 1963 by farmers from Campitello di Fassa, who were gradually joined by farmers from the whole valley. The dairy hosts a section of the Ladin Museum of Fassa, called "L. Melghèr" dedicated to the local cheese-making tradition next to the rooms where the cheeses are processed and aged. 

There are two shops, one at the production site and in Campitello di Fassa, where the dairy's Milk Bar is also located.
